There is no flat rate for translations, copywriting, proofreading and editing. To give you a clear idea of the final price, please provide me with as many details about your request as possible. The more information I have about your ambitions, the more accurate the quote will be.
For translations, I require information about the specialised field, chosen language combinations, length of the text (estimated in words), target group (who will read the text?) and the date you want to have it finished. Please be aware that a high quality translation cannot be completed from one day to the next, and that orders, that have to be finished over weekends or bank holidays will include an additional charge of 70 % - 100 % to the regular price.
Should you require textual content, please let me know which type of text you need, and whether it is expected to be a one-time cooperation or long-term partnership (e.g. blog entries on a regular basis, etc.). Here I also need information about the length and language of the text, as well as the desired date of completion.
Concerning editing, please inform me about language, specialised field, type of text and the deadline. Additionally, please state the desired focus, of the corrections. The focus of a correction of a master thesis or dissertation can be, for example, on the scientific writing style, on the citation method or on grammatical and orthographical aspects.
After looking through the source text (the text that needs translation or correction) and evaluating your request, I will inform you of the expected price/sum. Please do not hesitate to contact me for information about pricing for your project!
In any case, the actual final price can vary up to 20% from the estimate.
Please keep in mind that professional work always has its price. From time to time, non-professional language service providers are involved in dumping of prices. A high-quality product always requires a great deal of time and effort. If you want to make sure that you get the very best results, opt for a trustworthy, professional language expert. By the same token, you would pay a trusted and trained craftsman a higher hourly wage, knowing that the result would be far superior to the work of a non-professional
